Wheaton (IL). August 9. From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Cantigny Park invites everyone to “French Connection Day.” The 8th annual French Connection Day is a prime opportunity for families to enjoy the Colonel Robert McCormick’s extraordinary 500-acre gift. Deputy Consul General François Pellerin will open the festival at 10:00 am and give a brief address at 11:30 am.

Attractions and activities will include: French Open Air Market presented by Bensidoun, 23-foot Eiffel Tower replica, French music by Claudia Hommel and accordionist Patricia Spaeth, wine tasting and French food at Le Jardin restaurant, pétanque courtesy of Chicago Pétanque Club, street performers, kids’ art project and story time.
