The Alliance Française and Chez Kids Academy propose a 7-week full day program for children age 6 to 12 of discovery through various entertaining workshops to broaden their horizons, make new friends and expose them to French Language and culture. Thanks to fun and structured activities such as Art & Crafts, Games, Music, Singing and Dancing, Sport, Cooking and Field Trips, your children will have many opportunities to develop their skills while having a lot of fun. The French School will offer an 8-week French immersion and fun-filled summer camp for current students and French-speaking children (space permitting) aged 3 to 6 years old. Summer camp begins June 2nd and will run through July 25th. A total of 8 weekly sessions will be offered. French Summer Camp offers fun-filled activities and daily outdoor play with weekly themes, all in a French immersion environment to promote and maintain language acquisition during the summer. Children will benefit from nature activities, games at the park, sports, creative crafts, painting, cooking, dance, theater, songs, stories and a daily snack. FrenchatCamp at NIU Camp Loredo, Village of Oregon in Illinois
It aims at introducing or improving French language and culture for 6 to13 years old children (2nd to 7th grade) in a friendly and highly structured manner.
FrenchatCamp combines the rigourness of their curriculum with the quality of hands on activities throughout the day in an overnight Camp.
This Immersion Program takes place in the beautifull NIU Camp Loredo, Village of Oregon in Illinois, (1and ½ hour West of Chicago) for a full business week starting last week of June.
Instruction is provided by a certified and trained staff of caring counselors and program specialists.
The overall staff to camper ratio is 1 to 6.
No previous language study is required.
