| NEWS FROM THE FRENCH ECONOMIC MISSION CHICAGO / DETROIT |
| Les constructeurs et équipementiers français à la rencontre des acteurs américains du véhicule hybride-électrique Une Mission collective "Véhicules Hybrides et Electriques" s'est déroulée du 16 au 20 novembre à Chicago (Illinois) et à Détroit (Michigan). La délégation comprenait 12 sociétés françaises (grands constructeurs français, équipementiers, PME,...), les deux pôles de compétitivité Mov’eo et MTA, ainsi que l’IFP, l’INRETS et l’association AVERE, et comptait au total 21 participants.
Cette opération, organisée par la Mission Economique de Chicago-Detroit, a permis de présenter à ce groupe les tendances du marché du véhicule hybride/électrique aux Etats-Unis, certains de ses principaux acteurs et initier des contacts et partenariats. BORDEAUX BECOMES THE PHOTONICS WORLD CAPITAL WITH THE 'INVEST IN PHOTONICS' CONVENTION NEXT MONTH
Despite the current economic climate, the Invest in Photonics convention met its goals two months before the event: 50 project applications have been received and the major decision-makers in the field have indicated they will attend. The stand-out sectors for investors are: clean technology (photovoltaic), telecoms (fiber optics), and health. The next step is to select 20 applications to be presented in Bordeaux, France, on December 11 and 12 during Invest in Photonics, the world’s leading partnership meeting in the photonics sector.
