The French Cultural Services in Chicago regularly conceives, organizes, and supports projects and initiatives in French
cinema,
music,
visual arts and
performing arts.
Our programs, projects or supports are offered either directly by our office or in conjunction with our non-profit partner
FACE.
The French Cultural Services in Chicago is dedicated to support contemporary creative work :

It offers advice, support and networking opportunities to French artists, professionnals or institutions with projects in the Midwest. Awards focus on contemporary work, but may also support the presentation of older works that play an important contextual role.

It organizes professional visits to France for Midwest presenters, curators, art professionals, academic professors with the goal to develop transatlantic projects (exhibitions, dance, music, theater, festivals, residencies, round-table discussions, lectures, master-classes, etc.).

It also offers research programs, residencies, and academic cooperation grants.

It acts as a liaison between the French and American art scenes.
The following pages provide details on the many programs and supports offered.
If you have a project, applications may be submitted through the Chicago Cultural Service before August 15 of each year (unless otherwise indicated) for the following year. For more information,
